Another highlight of our time in Detroit was setting up at the iconic Heidelberg Project. Created by the artist Tyree Guyton, it can be best described as the perfect representation of the beautiful decay that is Detroit. Comprised solely of sculptures made out of found objects, that stretches over a few blocks of vacant land, it shows how Detroit, despite its many issues, has become a haven for the arts and a mecca for a new generation of creatives. While we were there the famous rapper Fab 5 Freddy stopped through to experience the Truth Booth.
